The Inter-University Computation Center (IUCC) in Israel is proud to host the PRACE 2021 Winter School which will feature a rich introductory workshop on how to use PRACE resources as well as trends in future software and data ecosystems for scientific discovery. The programme will divide its time between traditional supercomputer use and HPC use via the cloud.
Registration is on a first come, first serve basis, with priority given to local regional applicants. In addition, the number of participants each session can accommodate is dynamic, subject to HPC and compute resources allocations. If the number of registrants exceeds the per session limit, priority will be granted as per date of registration. The remaining applicants, and applicants from outside the region, will be placed on a waiting list. Final confirmation of the status of your registration application, and which sessions will be available to you, will be sent after registration closes on October 15, 2021.
For the 3 day sessions, attendees are expected to use their own computers (with ssh support).
Compute resources for the hands-on sessions are being graciously provided by Weizmann Institute for Day 1 and by AWS for Days 2 & 3.
