See also the following links for explanation: http://www.ljubljana.info/airport/bus/ and http://www.lju-airport.si/eng/passanger-visitors/getting-here.
Ljubljana city uses Urbana payment card for its city buses (1.2€/90min fare) and for city bicycles with 1€/week. For public transport (city bus) Urbana card can be purchased at kiosks around and filled at the urbanomats. Urbana card is valid also for public bycicles if registered. All hotels suggested are within walking distance from the main railway/bus station! We suggest that for return shuttles are ordered/shared at the hotel reception. Then they pick you and deliver on time. The same can be done for for arrival by booking on the internet[1,2]. Cheap flights can be searched to nearby airports (Bologna, Venice) from Italy and arrange GoOpti shuttle to pick you and deliver from/to airport there.
Organizers will assist in transport from/to the hotel if flight details will be given at the registration form. Please ask mateja.maffi@lecad.fs.uni-lj.si for a help if having troubles in accommodation, registration, transport, ...
If you arrive by some public transport then it is a short walk from the railway/bus station to the City Hotel. http://goo.gl/B7Xzfi
If you are arriving by a car there is a parking just in front of City Hotel for 18€/day and requires prior reservation at the Reception +38612390000 as it is pretty crowdy due to the TV centre nearby or you can drive to nearby Parkirišče Komenskega http://goo.gl/0ZmPOU for 1,2€/hour or Trdinova http://goo.gl/3EOPYw
