Description
The simulation landscape is changing rapidly, both at the hardware and at the software level. It is often difficult for newcomers to decide which of the several possible solutions is right for their computing environment. The answer depends on various factors such as the size of the organization, the available skills, and, of course, the computational demands, at the moment and in the foreseeable future of the applications.

This training will present the various architectural possibilities to address a simulation project (CPU vs GPU, local cluster, cloud, grid etc.) as well as software tools to enable the project.

Specific solutions will be presented by ActiveEon, a leading edge technology providers in the field of HPC

Learning outcome:
Ability to decide which solution is right for which type of project.
