Travel

By plane

Poznań Ławica airport has frequent daily connections with Warsaw, Copenhagen, Frankfurt/Main and Munich. From the airport, there are several bus lines leading directly to the centre of the city. Travel takes about 30min.
You can reach the IBB Andersia Hotel by taxi or public transport (more information below).

By taxi from the airport

We recommend choosing one of the registered corporations, eg.

  • (+48) 61 8 222 222
  • (+48) 61 8 519 519
  • (+48) 61 8 222 333
  • Uber

Next to the airport hall exit, there is a TAXI rank, it is, however, worthwhile calling a TAXI by phone. The cost of travel from the airport to the IBB Andersia Hotel should not exceed 30 PLN (about 7 euro). Please pay attention to the tariff on the taximeter which should be appropriate for the time of day.

Public transport

Public transport in Poznań is excellent and allows you to quickly move around the city, also during peak hours. Several buses (48, 59, 77, L) leave from the airport, which leads straight to the city centre, from where after 3 tram stops you reach the hotel. Tickets can be purchased at kiosks, at bus stops and in some buses with the ticket machine. Bus drivers do not sell tickets. The cost of a ticket for 40 min is about 1 euro.

We highly recommend using one of the apps helping find a proper public transport connection, such as Jakdojade.pl.

By train

All trains coming to Poznań stop at Poznań Main Railway Station (Poznań Główny).
The Railway Station is located in the city centre, just next to the Poznań International Fair venue (Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie). In the Main Hall there are kiosks, shops, fast food restaurants, ATM and Glob – Tour tourist information.

The IBB Andersia Hotel is within walking distance of the Poznań Railway Station.

By car

You can get to Poznań driving A2 motorway from the Polish-German border in Świecko/Frankfurt, where it connects to the German A12 autobahn, through Poznań and Łódź to Warsaw – the A2 motorway is a toll road. More information about the costs you can find here.
The city centre is one Parking Zone. A fare is collected for each vehicle parked within the zone. Drivers pay the parking fee in parking meters located along streets in the city centre. The Parking Zone borders are marked with a B-39 road sign.
